Farmers wants drivers to get smart about their driving

Farmers announced the launch of Signal, an app that analyzes the mechanics of one’s trips and driving style to help him or her obtain insights into their driving patterns. The app is available to new and existing Farmers Smart Plan Auto customers in Arizona. But that’s not all. There’s the promise of a discount, too. “Once customers enroll in Signal by Farmers and complete 10 trips, they will receive a 3 percent discount on their auto policy.” Recall: last year FICO, the company best known for its credit score services and eDriving, the company best known for its fleet driver safety programs, introduced a smartphone app, called MentorSM, that offers the FICO Safe Driving Score.
