Zurich Resilience Solutions debuts energy advisory service in Canada

Zurich Resilience Solutions, Zurich Insurance Group’s commercial risk advisory arm, introduced ZRS Energy Advisory in Canada, a service built to help energy producers strengthen the resilience of renewable power assets as the country expands its clean-energy infrastructure.

The offering combines Zurich’s proprietary extreme-weather and climate models with engineering expertise to assess risks across generation, transmission, distribution, and storage. It benchmarks assets against peers, quantifies residual risks for insurance placement, and supports decisions around site selection, construction planning, and long-term adaptation. ZRS says the service draws on more than a century of experience in Canada and a network of 170 specialists globally.

“At Zurich Resilience Solutions, we know that renewable energy infrastructure is increasingly vulnerable to extreme weather. Our ZRS Energy Advisory is designed to provide energy producers with expert analysis, strategic insights, and tangible solutions, helping them navigate the complex landscape of renewable energy with confidence and resilience.” – Denise Gaeta, Head of ZRS Canada.
