Zurich offers group buying scheme Zurich4Care
Zurich Italy has launched Zurich4Care, a group buying scheme to purchase insurance solutions intended for large companies with at least 1,000 employees or associations who, “united”, have the opportunity to benefit from economic conditions that cannot be obtained individually.
The first solution available on the Zurich4Care platform is long term care (LTC) coverage for €10 a month – 90% less than traditional individual LTC – which guarantees a monthly life annuity of €1,000 in case of occurrence of non-self-sufficiency, caused by aging, injury or illness.
In its pilot phase, the platform reached 6,000 users with the goal of reaching 1 million people by the end of year.
“With Zurich4Care we want to have an active role in addressing the issue of non-self-sufficiency through an innovative and simple solution. We want to give a concrete answer to a social problem , we do it with an insurance model never seen on the market that makes sharing its strength.” – Dario Moltrasio, CEO of Zurich Investments Life.
Bottom Line: Looking to address the 4 million Italians that aren’t self-sufficient due to accidents, diseases, and aging.
