Zurich enters Poland commercial insurance market

Zurich is entering Poland’s commercial insurance market through a new branch of Zurich Austria in Warsaw.

The branch will serve local and multinational companies, offering insurance as a primary insurer, co-insurer, and reinsurer, and working with Polish brokers.

Rafał Tokarz has been appointed to lead the Poland branch, bringing over 30 years of experience in underwriting and corporate insurance.

The operation will be managed by Zurich Austria, led by Kurt Möller, Head of Commercial Insurance Austria & CEE.
