Zurich and Vrio Corp. announce regional partnership

Zurich is announcing an extended partnership with Vrio Corp., which provides entertainment services through DIRECTV Latin America, SKY Brasil and DGO.

The first partnership, signed in 2021, was made with the SKY brand in Brazil and the offering included home insurance and a bill payment coverage in case of unemployment. Zurich says it issued more than 300k policies through this relationship.

Now, the companies are extending their partnership to include Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay and Peru where insurance will be offered to more than 8 million customers.

Zurich will have 10 years of exclusivity to offer a variety of insurance products.
