Zenjob raises $50 million

Berlin-based Zenjob has raised $50 million in a growth financing round led by Aragon with participation from Acton Capital, Atlantic Labs, Forestay, and AXA Venture Partners.

Established in 2015, the recruitment platform matches workers with temporary side jobs in a number of sectors including e-commerce, logistics, retail, and service industries. Zenjob will use the capital to accelerate its growth and expand to new cities in Germany and the Netherlands and it will launch in the UK later this year.

“The growing demand for temporary work offers an opportunity to help people book reliable jobs with the click of a button while offering benefits like faster payouts and a steady stream of income. It’s a win-win situation, both for companies and our talents. For us, this is the foundation to grow our platform and bring our services to new cities and countries.” – Fritz Trott, co-founder and CEO of Zenjob.
