Zaffino joins Palantir

Palantir Technologies  has appointed Peter Zaffino, former CEO and executive chairman of AIG, as its Global Head of Financial Services, effective January 15, 2027.

Zaffino will lead Palantir’s financial services growth strategy across insurance, banking, asset management, private equity, and other financial institutions. He brings more than three decades of financial services and insurance leadership experience, including chief executive roles at three organizations.

Palantir has worked with financial institutions for nearly two decades and recently expanded its insurance presence through an enterprise agreement with Mexico’s GNP Seguros.
