Workit Health raises $12 million in Series B
Michigan-based Workit Health , a virtual substance use disorder provider bringing evidence-based telemedicine care to individuals, healthcare organizations, and employers, announced a $12 million round of investment led by FirstMark Capital. The round included participation by Lux Capital, GingerBread Capital, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Venture Partners and actor Rob Lowe, who is a prominent advocate for recovery and mental health.

Workit Health’s web and phone apps combine evidence-based therapy with medication management from a clinical care team, resulting in outcomes that “far exceed” those of traditional treatment programs. Workit’s programs are accessible to people at all stages of addiction recovery.

Founded in 2015, the company has expanded to over 150 employees with medically-assisted treatment available in five states and therapy available nationwide.
