Wopta Assicurazioni raises €12 million

Wopta Assicurazioni has closed a $4.2 million undisclosed round, bringing its total funding to $12 million.

Founded in 2021, Wopta operates as an MGA, providing insurance solutions for businesses and professionals. The company serves over 200,000 customers, works with 2,500 intermediaries, and has key partnerships with CNA, BeProf, HYPE, Banca Sella, and Switcho.

We have successfully navigated many challenges and seized numerous opportunities that allowed us to grow and gain the trust not only of our 200,000+ customers, but also of partners and new investors. We have signed important partnerships with key players in the Italian market (and beyond, having recently received IVASS authorization to operate in France and Spain). Earlier this year, we closed a €4.1 million Series A round, and now another Club Deal led by Belluzzo International Partners has joined our capital with an additional €4 million. But we’re not stopping here: we are proud to announce the launch of a Series B round of up to €50 million, which we will use to acquire synergistic industrial partners to strengthen our position in Italy and expand our activities in Europe.
