Wollit is a London-based early-stage initiative aiming to bring financial wellbeing to people with flexible work so they can enjoy a “happier, calmer, smoother life.” Basically, Wollit is an income smoothing service that uses a subscription model to balance the ups and downs of unpredictable pay. The service will calculate how much users have earned at the end of each month and if it’s less than their ‘Income Promise,’ Wollit will offer them a cash top-up for the difference. Later, Wollit will collect the money from the users’ bank accounts. Fine print applies.
