Walter Global Asset Management invests in Equisoft

Walter Global Asset Management  has invested in EquiSoft , a Montreal-based provider of technology to insurers, wealth managers, banks, pension funds and asset managers. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1994, Equisoft offers front-end applications, back-office and retirement systems, and data-migration services. The company works with more than 325 financial institutions and employs over 850 people across six continents. More than 40% of its revenue comes from outside Canada and the US.

Walter GAM launched in 2019 and invests in asset managers, wealth management firms and tech-enabled financial services companies. Equisoft represents its 16th investment.
