VWFS UK partners with Wrisk on van insurance

Volkswagen Financial Services UK has appointed Wrisk Transfer Limited as its preferred insurance partner for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, expanding its offering beyond financing.

Under the partnership, customers collecting a Volkswagen van will receive up to three days of complimentary drive-away insurance, along with a monthly, no-obligation quote for a comprehensive commercial van policy. The coverage includes access to Volkswagen-approved repair centers, use of genuine parts, and protection for tools damaged or stolen from the vehicle.

The move adds insurance into the ownership journey, with VWFS aiming to simplify onboarding and ongoing protection for commercial vehicle customers. Wrisk, which works with multiple automotive brands, provides the digital infrastructure and underwriting support behind the offering.

The partnership reflects continued momentum around embedded insurance in the automotive channel, where financing, coverage, and servicing are increasingly bundled at the point of sale.
