VSK partners with car leasing company to offer coverage

Russian insurer VSK Insurance has launched a new product called “Driver protection” to provide coverage for the clients of car leasing company Europlan to allow them to provide insurance for drivers and passengers to cover medical expenses and property damage.

Driver protection can be included in the lease agreement or paid at once along with a comprehensive insurance policy. Car and trucks are eligible for coverage, however, buses and ride-share transportation are excluded.

The program provides reimbursement of medical assistance in case of an accident in the amount of 1.5 million rubles. Reimbursement of medical care applies to an unlimited number of insured events during the period of the policy. Also, during the entire lease term, it is insured against accidents in the amount of up to 3 million rubles. In addition, the policy includes insurance of personal property in the car for an amount of up to 500 thousand rubles. “You can insure your mobile phone, passport, house keys, suitcase and its contents, bags, wallets, electronics, etc.”
