VPV Releases Alexa-Skill

The VPV insurance companies (VPV) offer their customers an additional opportunity to inform and contact their customers via an Alexa skill in addition to the classic channels.

 

“Alexa, open the VPV insurance.” With this sentence, the VPV skill in the Amazon voice Alexa start. Through VPV Skill customers can find a consultant, contact customer service or request an online claim notification form. In addition, they receive information on VPV as a company and an overview of the products offered.

 

As a service insurer, VPV attaches great importance to personal contact during consulting and when signing the contract. “With the Alexa-Skill we are expanding the contact possibilities for our customers,” says Sales Director Lars Georg Volkmann, “but Alexa does not replace the direct discussion with a consultant.”

 

The VPV has developed the Alexa skill to gain early experience with this new channel for contacting customers. “We will continue to monitor the developments, recognize and use potentials for us,” explains Volkmann.
