Activity monitor for dogs PitPat is launching PitPat Life, a monthly membership plan which rewards dogs and their owners through perks, points and prizes.

Starting at £4 a month, members get the PitPat activity monitor which tracks the pet’s exercise levels via a mobile app. Members get daily personalized exercise goals for their dogs based on the dog’s age, weight and breed. If members and their dogs achieve the exercise goals they earn points, which can be redeemed at the Prize Store, or exchanged for perks such as money off dog food and reducing the cost of future pet insurance premiums, following a partnership with UK insurer More Than .

Recall: in January 2017, RSA, which owns the More Than brand, invested an undisclosed amount in Pitpatpet. According to The Financial Times, starting next month, customers receiving a new More Than pet insurance quote for a dog will be given the option of signing up to PitPat Life.
