Visa to acquire Featurespace

Visa has announced its acquisition of Featurespace , a company specializing in real-time AI-powered payment protection technology.

Featurespace’s innovations, originating from Cambridge University, are designed to detect and mitigate payments fraud and financial crime risks.

The acquisition aims to bolster Visa’s fraud detection and risk management solutions, allowing it to offer enhanced security to clients globally. This move aligns with Visa’s long-term investment in improving payment ecosystem security, and the transaction is expected to close by fiscal year 2025, pending regulatory approval.

The collaboration between Visa and Featurespace will enable real-time fraud management across the payment industry, helping to further protect consumers and financial institutions.
