Vertikal RMS debuts AI assistant for certificates

Vertikal has introduced Hawk-I, an AI tool designed to automate Certificate of Insurance (COI) compliance tracking.

Hawk-I, integrated into the company’s CertFocus platform, uses natural language processing and machine learning to analyze both structured and unstructured insurance documents—reducing review times from days to seconds.

Key features include real-time compliance feedback, instant policy data extraction, and reduced administrative burden. Vertikal says Hawk-I can also support other document types, expanding its use beyond COI tracking.

The Plainview, NY-based company offers tools for COI management and vendor prequalification, with clients including Skanska and Performance Food Group.
