Urban Jungle to announce new funding round

According to a report by Sky News, London-based insurance startup Urban Jungle will announce a new ~$14 million funding round this week from existing investors including Sony Innovation Fund.

Founded in 2016, Urban Jungle offers renters and homeowners insurance and it currently serves over 200k customers. Some of its carrier partners include Covea, AXA, Ageas, L&G, LV=, RSA, Prestige, UKG, and Zurich.

The startup will use the new capital to expand into new areas.

Excluding this round, Urban Jungle raised ~$47 million.
