UOI Taps InsureMO to Lead Next-Gen Insurance Innovation in ASEAN
United Overseas Insurance (UOI) has announced a major technology investment initiative, aiming to boost its tech spend by nearly 50% over 2023 levels and expand its workforce by more than 60% by 2029. The insurer will prioritize digital innovation while preserving the essential human touch as it grows across Singapore and key ASEAN markets.
Central to UOI’s transformation is the rollout of a new digital intermediary portal in August 2025 and the launch of fully digitalized motor and travel insurance products, with all offerings set to follow suit by 2026. Enhanced omni-channel engagement—including integration with WhatsApp—will further improve access and service for customers and partners.
These initiatives are powered by InsureMO’s platform, enabling UOI to scale digital initiatives rapidly, open new distribution opportunities in bancassurance and non-bank channels, and offer a seamless, modern experience.
