UK-Based Inlet Launches to Offer Host Insurance

 

Inlet is live.

 

The UK-based startup launched to offer host insurance to those renting out their properties on Airbnb and the likes. Coverage is underwritten by Great Lakes, a wholly owned subsidiary of Munich Re, in partnership with UK General. Also, the startup is working in association with Lexelle Limited and Cunningham Lindsey. Get a feel for its UI below:

 

 

Bottom Line: in the same space as GUARDHOG, which launched back in 2016 to offer Host Cover, Stuff Cover (think: golf clubs, wedding shoes), Task Cover (coming soon) and Storage Cover (coming soon).

 

Note. Inlet is planning on offering its products through broker channels as well as direct.
