The application with few health questions can be filled out directly as part of the mortgage advice. Customers can fully hedge the risk of death of up to CHF 1 million and the risk of disability and incapacity to work up to CHF 600,000. In the event of an event, a lump-sum payment is paid, both in the event of death and disability. This provides insured persons with additional flexibility and security in difficult life situations; Financial bottlenecks can be bridged or existing obligations can be repaid quickly and easily.

In February 2020, UBS and Zurich launched an offer for young entrepreneurs that is unique in the Swiss market, which means that key banking and insurance products can be obtained quickly, easily and completely from a single source. “The new partnership with Swiss Res iptiQ is a further step for UBS to provide its clients with simple and integrated solutions and services. This marks another milestone in our strategy of offering our clients innovative solutions from a single source,” says Axel P. Lehmann.

The new offering will be available to UBS clients in Central Switzerland as part of a test phase from July 15. The Swiss-wide launch is planned for the successful completion of the test phase in early 2021. Until then, the offer will be further optimized based on experience and feedback and adapted to the needs of customers.
