TWFG acquires Fortress Insurance Services

TWFG Insurance announced the acquisition of Fortress Insurance Services , adding four agency locations and expanding its presence in the Upper Midwest.

Fortress Insurance Services offers personal and commercial insurance and is known for its community-focused approach. The deal adds new distribution capabilities and experienced insurance professionals to TWFG’s network of independent agencies.

Fortress Managing Partner Jim Christensen said the partnership will allow the agency to broaden its product offerings while maintaining its local relationships and service model.

The acquisition follows TWFG’s recent purchase of APIA, Asset Protection Insurance Associates, as the company continues to expand its distribution and specialty MGA capabilities.
