Turaco files Form D with the SEC
Provider of health and life insurance to low-income earners Turaco has filed its Form D with the SEC in connection to an equity round totaling ~$9.6 million.
Founded in 2008 and based in Kenya, Turaco (a team of ~84) is “freeing people from the fear of health-related financial shocks.” The company claims to provide simple, affordable health and life insurance to low-income earners, distributing their products through partnerships with businesses in Kenya and Uganda.
