Trademark filed for CoverRight

Digital-first health insurance platform CoverRight has filed a new trademark application on May 19th.

Some of the statements made in regards to this filing are: “Cost management for the health care benefit plans of others; Insurance lead collection and matching services, namely, matching consumer requests for insurance policy quotes collected over the internet to pre-qualified insurance brokers, agents and agencies interested in those requests; Promoting the goods and services of others by providing a website featuring coupons, rebates, price-comparison information, product reviews, links to the retail websites of others, and discount information; Providing health insurance exchanges in the nature of a marketplace that offers purchasers of health insurance a variety of plans from different insurance providers.”

The Brooklyn-based company plans to launch by the second quarter of this year and offer a portal for Medicare beneficiaries to enroll in the right health insurance plan. “We’ve assembled a passionate and driven team to help empower consumers to take control of their healthcare experience.” Currently, CoverRight is a team of 4 led by Richard Chan.
