Tracy Morgan: Staying Alive & Staying Silent

On June 7, 2014, Tracy Morgan was in a limo when it was rear-ended by a Walmart tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike. A federal agency later concluded that the driver of the Walmart tractor-trailer was the primary cause of this crash that seriously injured the actor-comedian and killed comedy writer James McNair. Now, Walmart’s insurer, Ohio Casualty (aka Liberty Mutual), is demanding Morgan, 48, sit for a seven-hour deposition to prove its claims that he exaggerated his injuries to get the payout, reported to be about $90 million. The Netflix (yes, Netflix) star says ‘not going to happen’. And so a judge will have to step in. To be continued on June 19. In the meantime Morgan is busy making jokes about the accident on Netflix.
