They better serve lemonade in heaven

Here’s a recap of the stuff that got your attention.

(1) Lemonade’s org chart; because there’s only so much left to squeeze.

(2) MetLife’s breakup with Snoopy and the pretty meh ad that followed.

(3) Arianna Huffington’s partnership with Discovery’s Adrian Gore via her new venture Thrive Global. Begin thriving by putting your phone to bed (for the retail price of $100).

(4) Starr’s latest D2C play – Starr Insure; it ‘earned’ double the YouTube views of Allstate’s small business portal, which also launched earlier this year.

(5) Lemonade’s original dream team; followed by Lemonade’s newest dream team.

(6) Attune; because it’s a creation of AIG, Hamilton and Two Sigma and because it’s not yet baked.

(7) The launch of digital insurer Sonnet; because it’s Canadian or because some of you are die-hard fans of Michael J. Fox? I can’t tell for sure.

(8) Tesla. All things Tesla, but specifically InsureMyTesla.

(9) Pokemon; luckily, it was just a phase-slash-craze. This is still awesome, though: www.pokemoninsurance.com.

(10) Zenefits’ turnaround (fingers crossed).

(11) The launch of Berkshire Hathaway’s Cover Your Business.

(12) The death of Google Compare.

(13) The launch of ZhongAn’s parametric coverage for theme parks in China.

(14) The launch of ValoraLife; thinking the only reason this made the ‘top clicked tidbits’ is because of Mario Lopez.

and (15) it’s a tie between insurance ads and insurtech conferences.

To be followed by the stuff that really got your attention (think: new entrants and new funding announcements)…
