The company, which is led by Cody Barbo and Daniel Goldstein, offers a simple lawyer-free process that takes about 15 minutes and costs $100, which includes unlimited changes. To get started, people who are interested in creating a will answer a few questions, to later customize the will based on their needs. Then, all that’s left is to print the will and have it notarized in the presence of two witnesses to make it official. Trust & Will is operating in the space of Tomorrow, a Seattle-based provider of a mobile app to handle wills, trusts and life insurance.
Bottom Line: a new company that’s on a mission to offer a simple and affordable service to ~50M Americans without a will.
