There’s a Hartford-Maxwell Health Partnership

Hartford has announced the launch of a new digital benefits admin and enrollment platform for SMEs called Employee Choice Benefits, developed in partnership with Maxwell Health, to offer employers access to an online system for employees to enroll in and manage all their employee benefits. “This new platform will enable us to deliver a simple, easy-to-navigate and transparent benefits experience for brokers, employers, and their employees”Mike Fish, head of Group Benefits product and strategy at The Hartford.

This whole partnership boils down to an interface that makes it simple for employees to choose benefits including life insurance, disability, critical illness, accident and hospital indemnity. Also, employees will have access to benefit options from other providers such as medical, dental, vision and financial benefits, including health spending accounts. Last, the platform offers virtual insurance ID cards, a wellness program to incentivize healthy actions, service support for health and benefits-related questions, integration with leading payroll solutions, and access to benefits year-round.

If you haven’t heard, Maxwell Health is a Boston-based benefits and HR platform launched in 2012. It has raised over $50M since inception and has a partnership in place with Guardian Life, Transamerica, and CBIZ; to name three. Omne trium perfectum.
