The nerve of one German insurtech!

German fintech-slash-insurtech Moneymeets, which was founded in 2012 to offer customers an online platform to map their financial and insurance products, has a clever market entry strategy; one that got it into court. The startup, which competes with the likes of Clark and GetSafe, shares 50% of its commissions with its customers as a way to attract new clients. You can see how one Berlin broker isn’t too happy with this. According to the broker, if one discloses the commission to later share with the customer, then there really isn’t an incentive to work hard or smart for that policyholder. According to Moneymeets, this is the price you pay for transparency. So far, transparency is winning .
