There once was Guild. A company established in 2013 to become an insurance platform for the collaborative economy. It looked a lot like this.

That was then. Today, the company’s URL www.guild.is redirects to this:

Wait there’s more. The company’s inactive Twitter account @Guild points to a new URL: guildinsurance.org.

Look.

And look.

And yet Collaborative Fund was launched in 2010 to solve for (people x stuff) + new technologies^creativity. Bottom Line: Guild. Defunct.
