The Hartford opens tech hub in Columbus

The Hartford  has opened a new technology office in Columbus, Ohio, expanding its tech footprint as it invests further in AI, cloud architecture, and digital transformation. The new hub, located at Easton Town Center, will house around 75 employees, including new hires and existing remote staff in the region.

The Columbus office will focus on collaboration, experimentation, and product prototyping, supporting initiatives across AI, cloud, and enterprise technology modernization. The move adds to The Hartford’s existing tech centers in Hartford, Chicago, Charlotte, and Hyderabad.

The company said the expansion is aimed at accelerating innovation and attracting specialized technology and AI talent, leveraging Columbus’s growing tech ecosystem and proximity to major universities. The Hartford has made sustained investments in digital modernization and has been recognized repeatedly for its IT workplace and digital capabilities.
