The Andover Companies names chief claims officer
The Andover Companies has appointed G. Quinn Landers senior vice president and chief claims officer, effective July 1, 2026.
Landers joins the insurer’s executive leadership team and will oversee all claims operations and practices. He succeeds Stephen Randall, who retired after 12 years with The Andover Companies and more than four decades in the insurance industry.
Landers joined The Andover Companies in 2019 after serving as its outside counsel for a decade. Most recently, he served as vice president and led the insurer’s Claims Excellence initiative. He has also participated in the company’s AI Task Force and AI Governance Committee.
The Andover Companies consists of Merrimack Insurance Company, Cambridge Insurance Company and Bay State Insurance Company. The mutual insurance group writes personal and commercial property and casualty insurance across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Illinois.
