Tesla Insurance launches in Nevada

Tesla Insurance Services continues to expand into new markets.

The automaker is now extending its insurance services to Nevada, its 9th state where coverage is available (California, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, Washington and Nevada).

This is a telematics-based insurance offering and Tesla also has pending programs in Maryland, Florida, and New Jersey. “Built with privacy in mind, Tesla does not monitor your location or keep a history of where you’ve been. Tesla collects the information from your vehicle necessary to compute your Safety Score, which includes measures of your driving behavior and miles driven. Tesla does not sell or rent your vehicle data to anyone for any purpose.”
