Tencent leads $200M round in Chinese healthtech Haodf.com

Tencent announced it has led a $200 million series D round in Haodf.com, a Chinese healthtech player that offers users the ability to search for a medical provider, obtain online consultation, and book an appointment, all while offering plenty of content on medical treatments. Recall: Haodf.com was launched in 2006 and has previously raised ~$20 million. The company plans to use the funding to improve its online presence, expand into additional cities in China, and develop a commercial healthcare insurance product; saving the best for last.
