Technology Meets Car Insurance by Metromile
On June 4, Metromile uploaded a video titled “Technology Meets Car Insurance” to YouTube accompanied with the following print: “There were over 4.5 million car accidents involving property damage in the US last year. And while not every accident turns into a claim, and not every claim is handled by Metromile, we still care. Why? Because we’re building a seamless claims process so that even the most minor fender benders can be resolved quickly and you can get back on the road faster. #ClaimsMadeEasy”

Op-Ed: need to work a bit harder on the “we still care” bit.
@Metromile received an email saying you are no longer receiving signal from my car while I’m away in France. The app is buggy and your customer service email is no longer working. Please give me an email to reply to.

Hi @Metromile, just wanted to let you know that I didn't drive my car out to the middle of the ocean a couple days ago. Shall we resolve this? pic.twitter.com/Fp5eYymUez

I’m having this issue constantly with an iPhone X. Every time I need to use the app I need to reinstall. Any ideas @Metromile @MetromileHelp ?

@MetromileHelp I had to file a claim and I can't get my adjuster to respond to my emails or phone calls. This is incredibly frustrating.

@Metromile you guys were great as long as I didn't need you. You suck the moment I did. Small accident, small claim, left a ton of messages but no response. The "old school" @Allstate and @WeAreFarmers know exactly when they matter the most to the customers.
