Swisscom launches sure

Swiss telecom company Swisscom is introducing sure, a new insurance initiative that is integrated into its mobile app.

The market leader in the Swiss mobile, internet and digital TV markets has been offering cyber insurance and device protection for several years. With sure, customers will be able to buy additional insurance products from different insurance companies including AXA, Zurich, and ERV.

Currently, the sure platform features two new coverages – trip cancellation and emergency assistance by ERV insurance, and household contents and personal liability insurance by Zurich. In the coming weeks, Swisscom will also be offering rental deposit insurance through AXA. Further products, such as legal expenses insurance, travel insurance and motor vehicle insurance, are planned by the end of the year.

Coverage can be purchased online in just a few clicks and customers will be able to view all policies in their Swisscom account.
