SunCar becomes exclusive insurer for all Huawei luxury EV brands

SunCar Technology Group  has won the contract to manage auto insurance for Aistaland, a luxury EV brand co-developed with Huawei.

The win makes SunCar the exclusive insurance partner for every Huawei luxury EV brand — it already works with five others in the group. SunCar will fold insurance directly into Huawei’s Qiankun intelligent vehicle system, building AI models (using its own vehicle database and ByteDance’s Doubao large language model) to price vehicle and driver risk, match policies, predict maintenance needs, and trim claims costs.

On the service side, SunCar will tap its network of 48,000 auto service providers to give Aistaland owners a one-stop package: underwriting, claims, roadside assistance, and maintenance.

SunCar, a NASDAQ-listed company focused on AI-powered B2B auto insurance in China, now has insurance partnerships with more than 20 EV brands, including Tesla, Xiaomi, NIO, XPeng, Li Auto, and Zeekr.
