State National files AI-focused trademarks
State National , a specialty insurance and lender services firm, filed two new trademark applications in April 2026, signaling a push into AI-powered insurance and lending workflow products.
R.I.D.E. IQ (filed April 21) targets the repossessed vehicle space. The mark covers a suite of services around inspecting and evaluating repo’d vehicles, generating damage reports and estimates for lenders and loan servicers, and supporting insurance claims processing — all wrapped in a SaaS platform.
VeraIQ (filed April 14) is squarely an AI document processing play. It covers automated OCR, machine learning-based document classification, and real-time insurance verification for lenders — essentially ingesting insurance documents and auto-populating loan servicing and enterprise systems.
Both applications sit at the intersection of insurance compliance, lending/collateral management, and AI automation, which is a fast-moving space as lenders look to reduce manual processing overhead.
