NYC-based Starr decided to join the growing number of insurers and insurance intermediaries targeting small business owners online. The insurance company, which dates back to 1919, launched a new brand called Starr Insure , a direct to consumer web portal to allow customers to quote and purchase small business insurance policies . The offering is tailored to businesses with up to 50 employees and annual sales up to $5 million in one location. Not too shabby. Bottom Line: in good company.
