Standard Life launches AI homebuying coach

UK retirement specialist Standard Life has launched an AI-powered coach to answer customers’ questions about buying a home.

The tool is available through Homebuyer Hub, a digital platform developed with UK fintech Life Moments . Customers can ask about topics including deposits, affordability and mortgages, and provide details such as their salary or deposit amount for more tailored explanations.

The AI Coach only draws from existing Homebuyer Hub content and provides guidance rather than financial advice.

The launch expands Standard Life’s customer support beyond retirement.

Standard Life manages approximately £317 billion for 12 million customers.
