Let me explain. Last month, the VC arm of New York Life finally launched its web presence after operating in stealth mode for 5 years . Its portfolio lists 11 active companies, including Captricity, Smart Asset, and Health IQ. Also, its portfolio company Skycure, a mobile threat defense solution, was acquired by Symantec earlier this summer.
