SPG consolidates transportation businesses under SPG Transportation

Specialty Program Group  is consolidating its transportation operations into a single platform, SPG Transportation, bringing together Avant Brokerage, Avant Underwriters, BizCHOICE Transportation, and MOVER’S CHOICE.

The move groups SPG’s trucking, last-mile delivery, and moving and storage offerings under one banner, with Scott Hendricks as CEO and Clayton Cavell as president. Existing teams and broker relationships will remain in place, and the legacy brand names will stay visible through 2026.

According to SPG, the consolidation is intended to simplify market access and improve coordination across its transportation businesses. Brand websites will be integrated into SPG’s site in phases throughout 2026.
