Sompo Japan selects ClaimGuard

Sompo Japan has chosen EIS’s ClaimGuard, an AI-driven fraud detection solution, to enhance its automobile insurance fraud prevention efforts. The system will support a new fraud-focused department launching in April, helping to refine investigation policies, manage fraudulent claims, and expedite legitimate payouts.

ClaimGuard’s AI model will be trained exclusively on Sompo Japan’s proprietary data, allowing it to detect company-specific fraud risks while adapting to emerging patterns. The platform’s customizable fraud detection thresholds and early case identification capabilities will enable proactive fraud prevention while ensuring faster claim processing for non-suspicious cases.
