Weather detecting company Understory has launched a messaging platform designed to help insurance companies better engage with their policyholders regarding weather-related insurance claims. The data is offered on an address-specific basis in cities where the company has RTi sensors. Recall: Security First Florida recently launched an interactive hurricane-tracking app, called the Security First Mobile app, to offer real-time rating, account management functionalities and storm-tracking features.
