Skyfora raises $4.2 million

Finland-based Skyfora has secured €4 million in funding from Ugly Duckling Ventures, LUMO Labs, Voima Ventures, and the EIC Fund, adding to previous support from the European Space Agency, EIC Accelerator, and Business Finland.

The investment will accelerate the rollout of its Telecom GNSS Meteorology solution and expand its market reach.

Founded in 2019, Skyfora’s technology transforms cell towers into high-resolution weather sensors, enhancing AI-driven forecasting accuracy while creating new revenue opportunities for mobile network operators without additional hardware costs.

The system has been successfully tested with industry leaders and is set for broader deployment.
