Sensor Tower acquires marketing intelligence company Pathmatics

Marketing intelligence company Pathmatics announced that it has been acquired by SaaS mobile analytics company Sensor Tower with a growth investment from Riverwood Capital for an undisclosed amount. The two will combine Pathmatics’ paid digital and social media platform with Sensor Tower’s mobile app and publisher analytics platform.

Founded in 2011, Pathmatics is a 60-plus team that has raised $7.7 million since its inception. The company offers insights into a competitor’s ad strategy. For instance, according to the company, GEICO dropped more than $11 million in advertising on Amazon.com over the past 12 months; earning it over 5.4 billion impressions and “making it the current advertising king of Amazon.”
