Securian launches digital claims portal for credit insurance
Securian Financial has launched My Coverage, a new digital portal designed to streamline how customers file and track credit insurance and debt protection claims purchased through financial institutions and associations.
The portal offers 24/7, mobile-friendly access, allowing claimants to submit claims online, upload documents securely, track claim status in real time, and view payment information, reducing paperwork and friction during stressful life events such as job loss, disability, illness, or death.
Once all required documentation is received, Securian reviews claims within 7 to 10 calendar days, with approved payments sent directly to the customer’s financial institution to cover designated loan payments.
The tool is available nationwide through Securian’s Affinity Solutions business, which serves more than 6,000 financial institutions and associations across the U.S. and Canada.
