Securian Canada appoints Marc Peliel as CFO

Securian Canada announced the appointment of Marc Peliel as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Peliel will oversee the finance and actuarial departments, leading a multi-disciplinary team to reinforce Securian Canada’s financial strategy and accelerate momentum.

Peliel joined Securian Canada in March 2026, bringing more than 25 years of senior leadership experience across the insurance, financial services and global corporate sectors. A strategic and collaborative executive, he has led finance, operations and enterprise transformation initiatives for national and international organizations, delivering strong financial performance and long-term growth.
