Roper Technologies acquires Transact Campus

Roper Technologies , the parent company of insurance software provider Vertafore, announced plans to acquire Transact Campus for a net purchase price of $1.5 billion, including a $100 million tax benefit. The transaction values Transact at approximately 14 times its expected 2025 EBITDA.

Transact provides campus technology and payment solutions, including campus ID software, secure access, tuition and fees management, payment processing, and campus commerce solutions, serving higher education, healthcare, and corporate campuses. Post-acquisition, Transact will be combined with Roper’s CBORD business, which offers solutions in foodservice, nutrition, access and security, and campus commerce.

Roper previously acquired Vertafore in 2020 for $5.35 billion.
