Root Shares Data on Distracted Driving

Digital insurer Root Insurance is sharing data on distracted driving obtained from drivers in 22 states who used their app for a test drive in 2018. With this “first-of-its-kind data,” the company is able to “surpass typical car insurance practices” and look at distracted driving through a new lens.
